Paul Pogba has not made a competitive appearance for Juventus since he rejoined the club from Manchester United in the summer, on a free transfer.
Pogba set to return to action
The France international has suffered a series of injuries since he arrived in Italy but it looks like fans are finally about to see their summer acquisition in action.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of the game against Torino, Allegri said:
🗣 "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘣𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩." ⚪️⚫️⚔️#JuveToro 🔜

"Pogba is better, he'll be called up tomorrow. If there's a need tomorrow, we'll put him on, he certainly won't be able to play a lot of minutes."
Allegri went on to preach caution regarding Pogba's comeback. He said:
"Now, to say that Pogba can be a starter for Juventus after 315 days without playing, Chiesa, who has been out for 10 months, is the same thing. We need a bit of patience."
Last month, Pogba was an unused substitute as Juventus lost 2-0 to Monza at home but this time, it looks like he will certainly be given the chance to make his second debut for the club.
Big picture for Pogba and Juventus
On his day, World Cup winner, Paul Pogba is certainly a world beater but he has suffered several injuries over the past three years and his mobility and athleticism appear to have suffered a bit of a decline.
There is hope among the Bianconeri faithful that he can put these injuries behind him and return to the midfield force he once was for the club.
Juventus are currently 8th in the Serie A standings after being deducted 15 points for alleged financial irregularities.
