Please don't sack me yet — Pochettino begs Chelsea owners for patience after Carabao Cup loss
Pochettino is optimistic about Chelsea's progress this season and believes there won't be impulsive decisions from the Todd Boehly-Clearlake Capital ownership, despite uncertainties after losing the Carabao Cup final to Liverpool.
The ex-Tottenham boss was in a defiant mood ahead of the FA Cup fifth-round tie against Leeds on Wednesday.
Pochettino begs Chelsea for more time
“I have good people next to me, the coaching staff,” Pochettino said.
“The staff of the club, after eight months we have built a very good bond. When players believe in the way we are working it takes time.
“Now the satisfaction of the players is to say: ‘Yes, that is the way.’
"The problem is that we need time and patience to win games. And we need the patience from the owner to give the possibility to keep going.”
