PlayStation announce PS Plus free games for March 2023
Sony have surprised PlayStation Plus subscribers following the confirmation of the free games coming to the platform in March.
Sony also revealed a new addition for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers.
The announcement comes as part of the latest PlayStation State of Play event, where Sony revealed a variety of new games in development for PS4, PS5, and PlayStation VR2.
Sony's State of Play events are best known for their new game announcements, but they have often times surprised gamers with new reveals in the past.

However, the latest State of Play event has now confirmed what Essential, Extra, and Premium subscribers fans can look forward to on PS Plus next month.
Free PS Plus games for March 2023 Confirmed
The free PS Plus games for March 2023 are Battlefield 2042, Minecraft Dungeons, and Code Vein.
The three games will be available to PS Plus subscribers on March 7.
Battlefield 2042 - Available on PS4 and PS5
Minecraft Dungeons - Available on PS5
Code Vein - Available on PS5
PS Plus and Extra Premium Games arriving in March 2023
Sony also confirmed some of the games coming to the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers in March 2023.
Although, the list includes some serious titles, official release dates are yet to be announced.
The games include:
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection
Ghostwire: Tokyo
Immortals Fenyx Rising
Rainbow Six Extraction
Tchia (Day One game)
