Photos: Turf fitted in, lines, goalposts - the freshest look of Nakivubo Stadium
It's getting closer to the famous and historical Nakivubo Stadium getting busy with active football action again.
While works are still ongoing, they are in their final stages, giving a sign of relief after years of waiting and promises.
After receiving the playing surface about a month ago, the artificial turf has now been fully fitted, and lines have been drawn in the usual white markings.
The goalposts have also been fully fitted, the corner flags erected, and the touchline seats are getting fitted.
This is in addition to the seats in the stands that were put months back - everything symbolising a new lease of life.
Meanwhile, it is still yet to be revealed by the stadium developer, Hamis Kiggundu, when the historic facility will officially be opened for use.
