PHOTOS: Ahmed Musa, Chukwueze, Iheanacho sweat it out as Super Eagles step up training for Ivory Coast

The Super Eagles of Nigeria led by captain Ahmed Musa were put through their paces in a hot training session as they prepare to face the Elephants in the Africa Cup of Nations final. 

Pulse Sports Nigeria reports that the AFCON 2023 will come to a climax on Sunday night when host nation Ivory Coast take on Nigeria in the most keenly anticipated grand finale.

Ahead of the all-important clash, the Super Eagles media has shared photos of the players in training from Friday's session.

Photos posted by the team's official Facebook account showed Nigerian players training intensely under the beating Ivorian sun led by skipper, Musa, Samuel Chukwueze and others. 

With the trophy within reach, the players looked focused during drills to prepare for the massive continental decider. 

Striker Paul Onuachu, Stanley Nwabali, defenders Kenneth Omeruo, Calvin Bassey, and Chidozie Awazie were among those pictured working up a sweat. 

The images provide a glimpse into Nigeria's preparations to try and claim a fourth AFCON crown and a first since 2013.
