After a disappointing Women's Africa Cup of Nations campaign last year, the Super Falcons view the Olympic qualifiers as a chance to re-establish themselves as a dominant force in African women's football.
But first, they must navigate this difficult playoff against neighbours and arch-rivals Cameroon.
But based on their assertion of readiness on social media, the Super Falcons appear confident of taking a step closer to Olympic qualification in Wednesday's first leg.
