Bayern Munich's legendary goalkeeper and former CEO Oliver Kahn has explained why he missed the club’s dramatic end to the Bundesliga season in Koln.
Kahn was conspicuously missing as Bayern survived a scare to retain their Bundesliga title on the final day at Cologne on Saturday.
The Bavarians defeated their hosts Koln 2-1 to edge fierce rivals Borussia Dortmund, who went into the final day two points clear at the top, to the title.

Jamaal Musiala was the hero of the day after he scored the decisive winner at the RheinEnergie Stadion while leaders Dortmund dropped two points at home following a 2-2 draw against Mainz.
The results saw Bayern leapfrog the Black and Yellows to seal the title for the 11th consecutive time.
However, their CEO Kahn was not at the Koln stadion to party with the Bavarians, with reports of his sack coming out after the games.
Kahn has now taken to his social media account to provide some insights into his absence, stating that he was forbidden from Koln while congratulating the club on their title win.
“Unbelievable! A big compliment and congratulations guys,” Kahn stated on his official Twitter account.
“I always told you so! Always give everything to the end and never give up. I am incredibly proud of you and this achievement!
“I would like to celebrate with you, but unfortunately I can't be with you today because the club has forbidden me,” he added.
“I'm looking forward to next season. We will not only be German champions for the 12th time! Let's celebrate!”
