Shooting Stars' persistence finally paid dividends, however, with an onslaught of goals to secure a comprehensive victory in the final 18 minutes of the encounter.
Alex Aghahowa broke the deadlock in the 71st minute to open the floodgates before Malomo Taofeek Ayodeji's strike in the 81st minute doubled their advantage.
With the Warriors reeling, Christian Pyagbara added a third in the 84th minute as the Ibadan warlords, known as the Oluyole Warriors, piled on the misery for the visitors.
Adam Mustapha Agba'a then applied the final blow in the 96th minute, sinking the dagger with a fourth goal to cap a resounding win for Shooting Stars.

The 4-0 scoreline not only underscored the home side's relentless attacking prowess but also exposed the defensive frailties that cost Abia Warriors, the Ochendo Babes, on the day.
While Shooting Stars bask in the glory of a comprehensive victory, the defeat serves as a stark reminder to the Warriors of the need to shore up their backline ahead of future challenges.
