Imade, Kumaga Suur nominated for LBA's January Player of the Month

Bendel Insurance's trio of Imade Osarenkhoe, Ismael Sarki and Amas Obasogie have been nominated by the League Bloggers Awards (LBA) for the NPFL Player of the Month for January 2023.

The monthly award - alongside the Coach of the Month, is designed to recognize the the efforts of best performing players in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Osarenkhoe - the highest scoring player in the 2023 season, was revealed on Tuesday, to have been shortlisted by the LBA alongside five other players.

Joseph Atule (Lobi Stars)

Socred one goal and made four assists in four matches

v Bayelsa United: 3 assists

Ifeanyi Onyebuchi (Plateau United)

Scored three goals in four matches from his centreback position

v Enyimba: 1 goal

Amas Obasogie (Bendel Insurance)

Kept clean sheets in three out of four matches including two on the road at Akwa United and Kwara United. Only conceded via a penalty.

Imade Oserenkhoe: (Bendel Insurance)

Scored a goal in every game he played in. Current top scorer in the league with four goals..
