Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United: Preview, Team News, Time and Where to Watch as Red Devils Eye Perfect Four
A resurgent Manchester United will aim to break into the Premier League's top four when they visit the City Ground on Saturday to face a struggling Nottingham Forest side under new management.
The Red Devils are seeking to turn the tables on the Tricky Trees, who defeated them in both league encounters last season, including a 1-0 victory on their home turf in April.

Match Preview
After a difficult period under Ange Postecoglou, Nottingham Forest began the Sean Dyche era with a crucial 2-0 Europa League win over Portuguese side Porto.
However, their league fortunes did not immediately improve, as they fell to a 2-0 defeat against a high-energy Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium last weekend.
That result left Forest in the relegation zone, three points adrift of 17th-placed Fulham. The team has now lost six of their last seven Premier League matches, including the last four without finding the net. Another loss on Saturday would mark their first five-game losing streak since October 2022.
Scoring has been a persistent issue for teams managed by Dyche. His sides have failed to score in 10 of his last 14 Premier League games, a trend that has continued from his time at Everton into his new role at Forest. Statistically, among managers with over 150 Premier League games, Dyche holds the lowest goals-per-game ratio at just 0.97.
Despite their poor form, Forest can draw confidence from their recent record against Manchester United, having won the last three league meetings while scoring six goals. A fourth consecutive victory would be their best run against the Red Devils since a streak between 1909 and 1910.
Red Devils Have Found Their Feet
Meanwhile, Manchester United have found their stride under Ruben Amorim. After a shaky start to his tenure, which included a 3-1 loss to Brentford, the team has responded with three consecutive wins for the first time since February. Since the end of August, only league leaders Arsenal have earned more points than United's 15.
Following victories over Sunderland and Liverpool, United secured a convincing 4-2 home win against Brighton last weekend. Matheus Cunha netted his first goal for the club, and fellow summer signing Bryan Mbeumo scored twice, lifting spirits at Old Trafford.
Currently sixth in the table, United were one of only three Premier League teams with a perfect record in October. A win this weekend, combined with favourable results elsewhere, could see them climb as high as second place.
However, United's away form remains a concern. They have collected just four points from a possible 12 on their travels this season. Furthermore, they have lost their last two league visits to the City Ground and will be desperate to avoid a third straight defeat there for the first time since the 1960s.
Team News
Nottingham Forest will be without several key players. Last season's top scorer, Chris Wood (knee), and new signing Oleksandr Zinchenko (groin) remain unavailable. Ola Aina (hamstring), Dilane Bakwa (unspecified), and Angus Gunn (knee) are also on the injury list.
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is optimistic about Harry Maguire's availability for the upcoming match against Nottingham Forest. The defender sat out the recent victory over Brighton due to a minor issue but could make a timely return to the starting lineup.
While Maguire's return would be a boost, fellow centre-back Lisandro Martinez remains sidelined. Despite rejoining training, the Argentine is not yet match-fit following a knee injury. Should Maguire be cleared to play, he is expected to slot into a back three alongside Matthijs de Ligt and Luke Shaw, potentially at the expense of Leny Yoro.
