The Nigerian international gave his side a dream start, opening the scoring after just 13 minutes to put Nice ahead against their fierce rivals.

However, despite Marseille going a man down, Nice were unable to capitalise fully on their numerical advantage as the visitors fought back to claim a share of the spoils.

Moffi's Outstanding Season

The 24-year-old's latest goal took his tally to 11 in 21 Ligue 1 starts this term – an outstanding return for Nice following his move from Lorient last summer.

Moffi has been a revelation since swapping clubs, with his predatory instincts and all-round play marking him out as one of the hottest properties in Ligue 1.

European Interest Looming?

With each passing week, Moffi's stock continues to rise. And if he can maintain this prolific groove heading into the season's climax, the Super Eagles striker may soon find himself fielding offers from across Europe.

For Nice, keeping hold of their prized asset could prove challenging if Moffi's exploits show no signs of slowing down in the remaining fixtures.

But for now, the focus will be on securing a top-six finish and potential European qualification – a task made considerably easier by having the in-form Moffi leading the line.
