They are on the verge of elimination from the women's basketball tournament after a win against Australia and then a loss to France.

Nigeria defeated the Opals of Australia 75-62 in their opening game, pulling off a historic upset.

The African team put on a great display, taking advantage of Australian mistakes to win in front of yet another sizable audience in Lille.

D'Tigress suffered a 75-54 loss to France in their second game at the 2024 Women's Olympic Basketball Tournament in Paris.

But when France shut down D'Tigress' offensive entirely and limited them to single digits at just 8 points in the third quarter, the wheels came off for the team.
