The Nigerian's nomination for the Player of the Week award puts him in contention with Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar, who was recognized for his impressive 12-save performance in the Italian side's dramatic 2-2 draw against Bayer Leverkusen.

Lookman's nomination comes as a testament to his continued growth and development, having played a crucial role in Nigeria's AFCON 2023 campaign earlier this year.
