Bajaber’s is facing an uncertain future at Tanzanian giants Simba, who have reportedly been frustrated by his fitness issues, after he suffered another injury last month, having stayed out for four months with another problem before he made his scoring debut in December.

Reports in Tanzania say Simba have opted to remove Bajaber from the squad as he recovers from an injury and registered new signing Inno Loemba, the playmaker from Congo Brazzaville, who arrived last month.

Bajaber is reported to have returned home to continue his recovery and while he looks for a quick return to action, his situation at Simba has alerted Kenyan clubs who are looking to lure him.

Which Kenyan Clubs Want Bajaber?

Pulse Sports understands Kenya Police and Nairobi United are keen to sign Bajaber to bolster their squads although it is still not known how long he will be out after the thigh injury he suffered last month.

Police are the club who sold Bajaber to Simba for a reported $100,000 (Ksh12.9 million), just months after shelling out what was believed to be Ksh1 million to sign him from Nairobi City Stars in January 2025.

Nairobi United, meanwhile, have ambitions of challenging the big boys of Kenyan football especially after qualifying for the CAF Confederation Cup and reaching the group stages this season.

It remains to be seen if the Kenyan clubs will reach an agreement with Bajaber’s camp but his chapter at Simba could come to an end faster than anticipated after the signing of Loemba who is set to play a similar role to what he was brought in for.
