Milutin Sredojevic: Ugandans 'afraid' Micho may make a third coming
The news of Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic's sacking from the Uganda Cranes job met loud cheers from the biggest section of Ugandan football devotees.
Micho, in his second stint on the job, endured a hugely toxic relationship with most fans, many of whom no longer believed in his tactics.
His second tenure was a mix of poor results, below-par shows at international events and unrecognisable tactics, which perplexed many fans.
Meanwhile, Micho worked in Uganda for the third time, after his initial spell with the Cranes and one with Uganda Premier League side SC Villa between 2001-2004.
As such, a section of fans fear Micho could return to the country for yet another round.
"If Magogo (Moses) is still the FUFA President, expect as many stints to Micho," a fan lashed.
If at all Magogo is still the Fufa president, expect as many stints to Micho lwakuba ffe abamu twamugoba nga baakamuwa omulimu

Others went hard on any possible future return: "Yes, even a fourth time or even more since he also joined the coffee business."

On first hire in 2013-2017, Micho managed relative success with the Cranes, including taking them to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, ending a 38-year wait.
However, his most recent one had Uganda miss out on the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, including failed African Nations Championships (CHAN).
