Marcus Rashford wins January player of the month

Manchester United's Marcus Rashford has won the Player of the Month award for January, beating six other contenders to the award. 

Rashford wins the award for the second time this season, after also claiming the September Player of the Month award. 

Rashford was in inspired form for Manchester United in the Premier League in the month of January and fully deserves the honour.

Rashford scored three goals for Manchester United in the Premier League in January and contributed directly to 10 goals in nine appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils during the month. 

Rashford beat Arsenal Bukayo Saka, Dan Burn, Sulley March, David Raya, Brennan Johnson, and Riyad Mahrez to the award in the latest plaudit for Rashford in the 2022/23 season. 

Rashford has contributed directly to 26 goals for Manchester United, with 18 goals and eight assists in 31 matches, and has been the best player for the Red Devils in the 2022/23 season.
