Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai announces birth of first child

Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai, and his wife, Borka Buzsik, have announced the birth of their first child - a baby girl.

 The couple shared the delightful news with the world this Sunday, kicking off the new month with a heartwarming update.

Taking to Instagram in a joint post, the Hungary international shared the exciting milestone with his millions of followers. 

While details like the baby's name or exact birthdate were not immediately disclosed, the accompanying caption spoke volumes of his profound joy and gratitude. 

"Your birth means the world to me. Thank you, my love for bringing her into our life! ❤," the 24-year-old footballer wrote.

The relationship between Dominik Szoboszlai and Borka Buzsik has blossomed remarkably quickly.

The couple first went public with their romance in July 2024, around the time Szoboszlai was captaining Hungary at the European Championship in Germany, as reported by Pulse Sports.

Their initial social media posts showed them enjoying a sun-filled holiday on the Amalfi Coast in Italy, confirming widespread rumours of their relationship.

 Just a few short months later, in October 2024, Dominik proposed to Borka in Budapest, with the Liverpool star announcing via an Instagram post captioned "She said Yes!" accompanied by a photo of Borka proudly showing off her engagement ring.

Borka Buzsik is not just Szoboszlai’s wife.

She holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from Corvinus University of Budapest, graduating in 2022.

 She has a successful career in marketing and public relations, working with major brands such as Calzedonia and H&M, and is also involved with the Hungarian company Toman, which focuses on healthy diets and lifestyles.

She has also been noted for her presence at Anfield, often spotted cheering on Dominik from the stands.
