Tottenham defeated Liverpool 2-1 in their Premier League fixture on Saturday evening with the Reds having two players sent off.

The Reds also had a goal ruled out for offside due to a miscommunication between the referee and the VAR.

Mac Allister shared his thoughts on the match by responding under a comment section saying Tottenham had an extra advantage against his team.

The Liverpool star responded on Instagram about his team’s loss to Tottenham and insisted that Spurs played with 12 men on the field according to reports from Daily Mail.

Joel Matip's late own goal gave Tottenham a 2-1 victory with Liverpool finishing the game with nine men after Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota were both sent off.

In response to Cristian Romero's post about Tottenham's victory over Liverpool, Alexis MacAllister said, “Normal when you play with 12”

Meanwhile, Diaz also had his goal wrongly ruled out for offside in the game which has led to fans attacking PGMOL on social media.

After the game, PGMOL apologised to Liverpool and acknowledged that Luis Diaz's goal had been incorrectly disallowed for offside.

PGMOL acknowledged in a statement that there had been a "major human error" in the decision-making process.
