Kvaratskhelia: Napoli star and his partner Nitsa Tavadze go through 'arch of daggers' at their Goergian wedding

Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is officially a married man.

This week, it was reported that the 22-year-old Georgia international married his longtime partner Nitsa Tavazde.

The couple said their marital vows at an intimate and private wedding at the Samtavro monastery, in Georgia.

Earlier this year in March, Kvaratskhelia and Tavadze celebrated their official commitment following a rite that marks the Georgian church, where the couple posed next to the patriarch of the country, Ilia II.

However, months later, the 2023 Serie A MVP award winner walked his beautiful partner down the aisle in the presence of family.

Kvara and his wife Nitza Tavadze, wore traditional white Georgian clothing, and received crowns from the priest - a custom that guarantees their definitive love.

The couple left through the doors of the Samtavro monastery and their friends and relatives were there to make a kind of corridor under an arch of daggers.

According to reports, this arch is key in this type of ceremonies, since it protects the couple and their family from any external evil .

Nitsa Tavazde has been known to be the girlfriend of the Napoli winger.

However, Tavadze loves to keep details of her private life and has also shown her reservation on social networks. 

The 21-year-old Georgina is a student of medicine and does not live with her husband in Naples.

The couple are understood to have always maintained a distant relationship, although, Kvara has been spotted spending his holidays with his partner on several occasions.
