Kenya Police possess oldest squad as Gor Mahia, Tusker among youngest [LIST]

The average age of Kenya Police FC's squad has soared above all others in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL), painting a unique picture of experience in the league. 

The Law Enforcers have emerged as a remarkable force in recent seasons, securing a third-place finish in their most recent campaign, a success partly attributed to their veteran players. 

With football stalwarts like David Ochieng, Musa Mohamed, Francis Kahata, and Patrick Matasi, all aged above 27, Police's squad showcases a wealth of experience. 

Nevertheless, it is not just a tale of seasoned players, as the team is also infused with youthful talent, represented by the likes of Tyson Otieno, Reegan Otieno, and Baraka Badi, all aged 25 and below, and showing immense promise for the future.

The intriguing aspect of Kenya Police FC's age statistics comes from the fact that their average age stands at 27.19 years old, making them the eldest team in the league, according to statistics from FKF Premier League.

In contrast, Kariobangi Sharks emerge at the other end of the spectrum, fielding the youngest squad with an average age of just 21.57 years old.

 Several other teams emerge with interesting statistics as Shabana FC, for instance, boasts an average age of 26.97 years old, which is only slightly below that of Kenya Police. 

Ulinzi Stars follows closely behind at 26.93 years old, indicating a similar trend in the league, where experience is highly valued. Murang’a Seal and Bidco United have relatively younger squads, averaging 26.42 and 26.28 years old, respectively.

Kakamega Homeboyz showcases a squad with an average age of 26.12 years old, demonstrating their dedication to combining the best of both worlds.

Meanwhile, Posta Rangers and FC Talanta opt for a slightly younger approach with average ages of 25.97 and 25.48 years old, respectively. 

Sofapaka, AFC Leopards, and KCB share similar average ages, standing at 25.34, 25.27, and 25.27 years old, respectively. 

Bandari, Gor Mahia, Nzoia, Tusker, Muhoroni Youth, and Nairobi City Stars present squads with average ages ranging from 25.0 to 24.40 years old, showcasing the versatility of the league when it comes to building a team
