Kenya Pipeline and Prisons secure massive wins as second KVF leg serves off

Defending champions Kenya Pipeline and Prisons have stamped authority as curtains lifted on the second leg of the Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) National Women’s League at the Nyayo National Stadium gymnasium in Nairobi.

In their opening match, the Oilers put up a brilliant show that saw them secure a commanding 3-0 win over Nairobi Water. They won in straight sets of 25-12, 25-19, and 25-17.

In the first leg, the Oilers were impressive as they secured a 3-0 win over Nairobi Prisons and dismissed the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) 3-1. On Sunday, they face off against Kenya Army.

The Wardresses also proved to be unbeatable as they displayed a dominant performance to win 3-0 over newbies Post Bank. They won in straight sets of 25-17, 25-12, and 25-12 respectively. They face African Champions KCB on Sunday.

Other matches played include the exciting clash between Nairobi Prisons and Kenya Defense Forces where KDF secured a hard-fought 3-2 win. KDF started off on a high securing the first set (25-14) but Nairobi Prisons turned the tables in the second set as they won 25-21.

The third set saw KDF secure a 25-18 win but Nairobi Prisons charged up and ran away with the fourth set (25-13). In the round of 15, KDF put up a good fight to win 15-8.
