The Cricket Cranes continued their good run at the ongoing four one-day international series with a 138-run victory over Qatar on Sunday.

It was their second out of three at the Doha University of Sports Science and Technology.

Lawrence Mahatlane's side won the toss and elected to bat, and they were vindicated with Roger Mukasa's 57 runs and Simon Ssesazi who added 47.

Kenneth Waiswa, however, stood out after he struck an unbeaten 101 off 96 balls with 11 boundaries and two sixes.

Henry Ssenyondo (3/37) and the veteran Franco Nsubuga (2/23) also executed well with the ball.

The win means the Cricket Cranes have managed a second win at the four one-day international series which they lead 2-1.

The Brian Masaba captained side will have a rest day on Monday before they play their final game on Tuesday.
