New signing Felix Olouch marked his arrival in style, scoring his debut goal in just his second start to hand Gor Mahia a second straight victory.

Speaking after the match, Morrison hit back at Omondi’s earlier comments that described Gor Mahia as an ‘average team,’ insisting that results on the pitch tell a different story.

“K’Ogalo is just a name. We will face them, and football will decide. The final whistle will be the decider. We will tackle them just like any other normal side. They are a good team, but we will approach the game the same way we did our previous opponents,” Richard Omondi said.

Enock Morrison urged Richard Omondi to focus on improving his own club instead of making comments about Gor Mahia.

The Gor Mahia midfielder noted that Omondi should avoid making bold statements before matches, since no one can predict the outcome on the pitch.

Morrison added that Gor Mahia players only respond after results are settled and suggested that other players should adopt the same approach.

“When you cannot fix your home and you talk about someone’s home, sometimes it is very bad. Some people were saying Gor Mahia is an ordinary team, and they were going to play with us,” Enock Morrison said.

“We don’t talk before the game; we talk after the game. They should keep mute and work as we are working.”

Enock Morrison revealed that Gor Mahia players laughed off Richard Omondi’s remarks after watching the video, confident in their own quality.

The Ghanaian midfielder noted that, in his view, KCB lacks the depth and calibre of players that Gor Mahia boasts, yet their players often take aim at K’Ogalo, a mindset he says he struggles to understand.

“It’s not motivating…we just saw it and laughed because we know the kind of quality we have. They don’t have it, but they keep on talking about us anytime we lose. They can’t support us when we lose, but they want to support us when we win, and that is very bad,” he added.

With back-to-back victories and renewed confidence in the squad, Enock Morrison believes Gor Mahia will continue to let their performances do the talking.

As tensions rise and rival players take aim, the midfielder insists that K’Ogalo’s focus remains firmly on maintaining their winning momentum and proving their worth on the pitch, not through words.
