Israel Adesanya, Jon Jones, and Amanda Nunes headline Top 5-star fighters in EA Sports UFC 5

 EA Sports UFC 5 is unarguably one of the best combat sports video games of 2023.

UFC 5 boasts major upgrades from the previous edition and is miles ahead of it’s predecessor.

The new game, released worldwide on October 7, welcomes the Frostbite engine, which is currently used in most EA games, including the FC 24 and Madden series.

Visually, the new UFC game looks quite impressive from the trailer.

 The trailer also confirms the addition of legends Fedor Emelianenko, Muhammad Ali, and Mike Tyson as pre-order bonuses.

Hollywood martial arts legend Bruce Lee, has also been included as a playable character.

Amongst a host of other new features to look forward to in UFC 5, fans can now get a hold of some of their favourite fighters in the Octagon as they look to battle for supremacy and bragging rights.

EA has also released a list of the highest-rated fighters in the game with some serious heavy hitters making the top spot like Nigerian-born Kiwi fighter Israel Adesanya, who is also the cover star of UFC 5 deluxe edition.

The Last Style bender and former UFC middleweight is is a 5-star skill fighter in the game alongside a host of iconic names in the UFC - and that is certainly a testament of the fact that Izzy is one of the best pound for pound fighters of all time as far as the UFC’s middleweight division is concerned.

Jon Jones also tops the list as arguably the greatest light-heavyweight fighter in the UFC. 

Jones has pretty much destroyed nearly all opponents he’s faced in the UFC and is widely considered by some ad the greatest UFC fighter of all time.
