Inter allegedly lowballing Chelsea with Lukaku offer
Inter have allegedly tried to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku for far less than the Blues’ price tag for their wantaway Belgian.
Chelsea looking to offload Lukaku
Chelsea had rejected Inter’s first offer for Lukaku, placing a price tag of only €45 million on the Belgian striker despite signing him for €113 million only two seasons ago from the Nerazzurri.
Chelsea have three serious bidders for Romelu Lukaku and are continuing conversations with all of them. Inter is a viable option but currently the lowest of the three bids and not yet at the level Chelsea are looking for. https://t.co/d2I9YptD4U

According to reports coming out of Italy, Inter have returned with another bid for Lukaku, but it is also far less than the Blues requested and is closer to €30 million, similar to their opening bid.
The Nerazzurri’s bid was reportedly the lowest of three bids that Chelsea received for Lukaku with other Italian sides Juventus and AC Milan are also reportedly interested in the Belgian striker.
Lukaku only wants Inter
Despite the low bid, Inter are still favourites to sign Lukaku from Chelsea this summer, as the former Anderlecht man is only keen on joining the Nerazzurri after rejecting a move to Saudi Arabia.
Lukaku spent two seasons at Inter between 2019 and 2021 after leaving Manchester United, helping the Nerazzurri win the 2020/21 Scudetto title.
He joined Chelsea in the summer of 2021, but returned to Inter on loan after one underwhelming season in London, and is hoping to make the move permanent this summer.
