NPFL champions Enyimba International are battling a wave of backlash from fans after a late heartbreak against rivals Enugu Rangers.
Supporters have expressed frustration on social media after the People’s Elephants were held to a 1-1 draw by Rangers during the Oriental derby on Wednesday evening.
Enyimba vs Rangers: What happened
Nigeria youth international Daniel Daga turned out to be the villain as Enyimba’s title defense suffered another setback against Enugu Rangers in Aba in the NPFL.
The intense clash between the two Oriental brothers was keenly anticipated, with both teams living up to the pre-match hype after the 90.
