'I'd love to play with Yamal, hopefully it happens' - Rashford gives hint on a transfer to Barcelona
The 27-year-old Rashford is reportedly a transfer target for the Catalan giants and could see the move materialise this summer.
The England international has struggled at Manchester United in recent years and was loaned to Aston Villa during the January transfer window.
Rashford wants Yamal linkup
According to reports from Sportal, Rashford has given a hint on a possible move to Barcelona after claiming he would like to play for the Laliga champions.
"Of course I'd play with Lamine. Everyone wants to play with the best. So hopefully it happens, we'll see. It's difficult to describe what he does because it's not normal for a 16 or 17-year-old.
"He's only 17 and playing at the top level. I don't think we've seen anything like it before. Ballon d'Or? If we're talking about the best player in the world, it's Lamine. If we're looking at the Champions League winner, then let's say Ousmane Dembélé.
"My role model? It's always been Thierry Henry. Like him, I'm increasingly enjoying playing as a number nine," Rashford shared with the Spanish influencer brothers, the Boyers, who spent 24 hours with him at his summer residence in Marbella.
He was then asked about the possibility of playing in Spain. "It's a wonderful country, not too far from home. If I were to train here for a long time, it would be great because my family could come visit for a few days.
"The flight is only three hours, and the weather is fantastic. Will you see me in a blue and red shirt? We'll see," added the Englishman.
