Despite not being in Ruben Amorim's plans for next season, Marcus Rashford is reportedly planning to return to training with Manchester United next month if a concrete transfer offer doesn't materialise.
The England international is among a group of players United are looking to move, including Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho.
Rashford set for Man United return
According to ESPN, via Abola, the forward remains open to rejoining the squad at Carrington training ground, even though the club is willing to listen to offers for the England international.
While there has been interest from renowned clubs like Barcelona, Inter Milan, Juventus, Bayern Munich, and several Premier League sides, none of these approaches have resulted in a formal offer.
The 27-year-old, whose contract runs until 2028, finished last season on loan at Aston Villa from the Red Devils, scoring four goals and providing five assists in 17 appearances.
United are still considering another loan, though they prefer a permanent transfer, setting their asking price at around €45 million.
As for pre-season, Ruben Amorim has reportedly decided that Rashford won't be part of the US tour in July, which includes games in Chicago, New York, and Atlanta.
Rashford's priority is to play for a club competing in the UEFA Champions League to bolster his chances of making Thomas Tuchel's squad for the 2026 World Cup. While a transfer hasn't materialised, returning to Old Trafford to prepare for the new season remains a possibility.
