Sha'Carri Richardson remains confident of her Olympic season despite losing to Aussie youngster Torrie Lewis at Xiamen Diamond League.
Lewis marked her Diamond League debut with a blazing run from lane 9 for victory in 22.96s, ahead of the world's fastest woman in 22.99s, while Tamara Clark was third in 23.01s.

The 19-year-old clocked a Personal Best (PB) of 22.94s to win the Australian National Championships last week and wasn't aware she had won until after she saw the replay.
"I didn't notice I beat them until I saw the replay and I was like, 'Holy sh--Holy crap.' So surreal," she said in a post-race interview with Citius Mag.

Also reacting to the race, Richardson affirmed she was happy with her first race of the season and knows what to work on to improve on her subsequent performances ahead of having a wonderful Olympic year.
