‘I don’t know him’ - Arsenal midfielder Jorginho says he is not familiar with ex-Liverpool star

Jorginho joined Arsenal from Chelsea for a fee worth £12 million in January 2023 and was instrumental in their push for the title last season.

The Italian star has been in good form since the turn of the year, helping the Gunners push for the Premier League title.

During an interview with Pumafootball, as reported by Goalglobal on Instagram, Jorginho was asked to rank some Netherland players in Blind rankings.

The ex-Chelsea star placed “Van Persie in number one, Memphis Depay in number five and Dennis Bergkamp in number two.”

But when he was asked to place Dirk Kuyt, he said, “Sorry, say again the name”, however, he placed the ex-Liverpool star in number four.

The midfielder's reaction and facial expression to Kurt’s name showed that he had not heard of the name before and never knew a player with that name existed.

Dirk Kuyt played for Liverpool for six years, scored 71 goals in 285 appearances and won only one trophy in 2012.

Jorginho then rounded up his list with former Manchester United striker Wout Weghorst in the number three position.
