He is exceptional: Italy legend Baggio hails Nigeria-eligible Manchester United target

Italy legend Roberto Baggio has hailed Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee as an exceptional talent.

The former Bayern Munich man has scored 11 goals in all competitions this season, but there is more to Zirkzee’s game than goals.

Baggio, one of Italy’s finest-ever players is in great position to pass judgment, which he has.

While Zirkzee may not fit the profile of the prolific goalscorer Manchester United seeks, his attributes such as vision, intelligence, and adept movement could prove instrumental in unleashing the full potential of Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho.

“Very much,” Milan and Fiorentina legend tells Tuttosport when asked if he’s an admirer of Zirkzee.

“He’s had an exceptional season in Bologna. He has great qualities and ample room for improvement.”

Zirkzee has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, and the 22-year-old who is eligible to play for Nigeria could be an excellent addition to the Red Devils.
