'He is an appetising player' — Napoli director makes Osimhen situation clear

Napoli are eager to resolve Victor Osimhen's future as soon as possible to avoid a prolonged transfer saga.

The 26-year-old Nigerian striker has been impressive on loan at Galatasaray, putting him back on the radar of top European clubs.

He has scored 26 goals in 30 games for the Turkish giants and will once again be the topic of debate when the summer window opens in June.

According to club director Giovanni Manna, Napoli want to "find a solution as quickly as possible" to avoid the drama that unfolded last year.

Osimhen moved to Galatasaray on loan last summer after failing to secure a deadline-day move to Chelsea, and his performances in Turkey have reignited interest from Europe's biggest clubs.

“Victor is always going to be a hotly-debated topic and not just on the transfer market,” Manna told Sky Sport Italia.

“He is an appetising player for clubs, he has a clause and everyone knows this, we are working to find a solution as quickly as possible so that we can avoid what happened last year.”
