The U-19 side has picked up two wins in as many games, including an eight-wicket win over Sai Cricket Academy.

And by the look of things, Gerald Olipa, the opening batsman, is settling in well; he put up a 50 unbeaten.

"I am very proud to score 50 on my debut from U-19, it's a great experience even though it's scorching in India, and the wicket is kind of slow," Olipa said.

"We hope to get more skills and experience here (in India) as we prepare for the Cricket World Cup qualifiers," he added.

Joshua Baguma also put on a show, picking up (6/27), while Ali Balidawa added (3/16), an improved performance from the three-wicket win in the first game.

The U19 Baby Cricket Cranes still have four 50-over games and a T20 game.

The team is preparing for the U-19 boys Cricket World Cup Qualifiers in Tanzania from July 23rd to 29th.

The qualifiers will have six teams (Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, Namibia, and Kenya), with only one team earning the right to represent Africa in Sri Lanka in 2024.
