Thomas was born to an African-American mother Jennifer Randall, and a Jamaican father Desmond Thomas, represents the USA internationally, but has always been proud of her Caribbean heritage, and she never fails to admit her love for the country.
"I do want to visit Jamaica. They have a meet in Kingston this year, I will be there, my family is waiting. And yea, maybe after this Olympic year I'll go on vacation there," said Thomas in a post-race interview with Cydon Bowen, after winning the 300m event at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Bowen.
