Full-blooded Nigerians - William Troost-Ekong shows off family

Super Eagles of Nigeria captain William Troost-Ekong has shared details on his personal life.

The 31-year-old Ekong is enjoying life with family in Saudi Arabia.

Ekong took to his official social media platforms to share photos of his family.

Along with the photos was a message that said, "A week of celebration and rehab."

In the photos, Ekong who was born in Haarlem, Netherlands into a mixed Dutch and Nigerian family is seen with his loved ones.

The 28-year-old Ekong was eligible for both the Netherlands and Nigeria in international football.

The photos of Ekong went viral as some football fans urged him to raise his kids as full-blooded Nigerians.

He opted to represent the country of his father rather than the country he was born in.

Ekong now plays in the Saudi Arabia Professional Football League for Al-Kholood Club and is also the vice-captain of the Nigeria national team.
