Onyeka on Nigeria
The talented Super Eagles midfielder took to his social media account on Instagram to react after helping Nigeria overcome a stubborn Palancas Negras of Angola.
Onyeka noted that the team is set for the next game in a rallying call for the keenly anticipated crunch clash in the last four.
Atlanta BC forward, Ademola Lookman, grabbed the headlines again with the decisive only goal of the clash against Angola. However, Onyeka was instrumental again from midfield.
Now he has sent an upbeat message ahead of the semi-final against Bafana Bafana, saying: "We're ready for the next chapter of this adventure!" on his Instagram page.
The 26-year-old has been a constant feature for the Nigeria Super Eagles having featured in all five matches so far in the 34th AFCON.
Onyeka went about his job quietly against the Palancas Negras, winning 100% of his tackles, 100% of his aerial duels, and eight recoveries in addition to creating two chances and making two key passes.
