Francis Ngannou: 'He left like a King' - Cameroon MMA star says final farewell to son Kobe
Earlier this week, the 37-year-old former UFC champion revealed the untimely passing of his 15-month-old son named Kobe.
After learning the unimaginable news, Ngannou conveyed his sorrow on social media in a terrible manner.
Many of the Cameroonian fighters' other competitors paid their respects via social media, with Conor McGregor and Anthony Joshua among those who posted condolences.
Ngannou was accompanied by another former UFC champion Kamaru Usman as he laid Kobe to rest.
Samuel Eto'o, 43, a football legend from Cameroon, also showed there to give his condolences.
Ngannou says farewall to Kobe
Following the funeral ceremony, Ngannou took to social media to say farewell to his son.
Along with a photo he said, "The rainbow raised yesterday at Kobe’s burial ceremony, he witnessed all the love that you guys have for him.
"He came like a King and he left as a King"🕊️
It is expected that Ngannou will take some time before deciding if he return to MMA or Boxing.
