Twice the host took the lead and twice the visitors came back to equalise during an end-to-end evening at Anfield.

However, with 20 minutes left to play, the enigmatic Salah came to Liverpool’s rescue as he netted the winner to break the hearts of Forest and their fans.

After the game, former Tottenham star, Bentm felt nothing ut sympathy for the relegation-threatened side who he told to take heart.

“Forest can take heart from the performance but unfortunately that's not enough,” Bent said per the Premier League website.
