Nottingham Forest have reportedly reached an agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The 24-year-old is a Chelsea academy graduate and was billed to become an important player in the club’s future. However, injuries, among other things, have hampered his development.
He spent the previous season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga but struggled to make his mark there. He is now set for a fresh opportunity in the Premier League.
Odoi close to Forest move
According to the reliable Fabrizio Romano, the Blues are close to reaching an agreement with the Tricky Trees to sell the English-Ghanaian.

The player is said to have reached a verbal agreement with Forest, as he is keen on the move, and medicals have reportedly been scheduled.
Odoi played a total of 126 games for Chelsea since making his debut in the 2018/19 season. He scored 16 goals and assisted 22 times during his time at the club.

Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign winger Cole Palmer.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the fee is in the region of £45m and both parties have reached an agreement on payment terms quickly.
Palmer is expected to undergo a medical with the London club on Thursday in anticipation of completing a deal ahead of Friday's transfer deadline.
