He took to social media to express his thoughts about Spain winning their fourth continental title.

In the post, Mourinho wants a share of the credit despite coach Luis De La Fuente leading the team to glory.

Mourinho associated the Spanish success with him due to his former players while coaching at Real Madrid.

While giving senior debuts to "kids" Alvaro Morata and Nacho, Mourinho acknowledged that he was blind to Dani Carvajal's potential at Real Madrid and claimed that "the best team" would win the EURO 2024 Final.

On Monday morning, former Roma coach Mourinho responded on social media to Spain's victory in the Euros.

The message by Mourinho said, "2024/Champions League winner captain Nacho Fernandez/European Champion winner captain Alvaro Morata.

"Many congratulations to them and to the coach who gave them their debut when they were just kids in the Academy 😂😂😂.

"Same coach who did not understand that Dani Carvajal was another one 😡🤬😀.

"Many congratulations to Mister De La Fuente for an amazing job. Best team won!"

Mourinho got a response from Morata who thanked him for giving him his debut at Real Madrid.
