Edo Man Deontay Wilder set to fight Chinese star Zhilei Zhang on Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou undercard

After Anthony Joshua's next move, Deontay Wilder might make a comeback against Zhilei Zhang, a difficult opponent.

Joshua has committed to taking on Francis Ngannou in March by signing a contract.

In his boxing debut, the former UFC champion scored a knockdown against the unbeaten champion Tyson Fury, almost pulling off an upset.

At the December Day of Reckoning event, Wilder lost to Joseph Parker in an unexpected manner.

The Wilder fight was put on hold for the time being as Joshua defeated Otto Wallin with a spectacular performance.

Sources claim that Wilder and Zhang may return on the undercard of the Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou fight, which is possibly slated for Friday, March 8.

One idea that has been floated is that Zhang and Wilder will fight separately or face off in a contest.

Zhang recently defeated British heavyweight Joe Joyce twice in decisive fashion.

With doubts about his background, Wilder will need to defeat a strong opponent like Zhang to establish that he is a top heavyweight throughout after losing the WBC heavyweight title.

"The Bronze Bomber" was unable to overcome Joseph Parker, a former world champion, and he will require a massive victory to fight Anthony Joshua.
