The Blues have taken a significant step in securing his services and according to French outlet SportsZone, have agreed on personal terms with the 21-year-old pending an agreement with his club, Crystal Palace.
Chelsea have already seen a €30 million bid rejected by Crystal Palace this summer, but with an agreement on the player's side in tow, they will certainly be making another move for Olise.
Manchester City still rivalling Chelsea for Olise
Manchester City continue to be interested in a deal for Olise as a replacement for Riyad Mahrez, who joined Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli this summer but could lose out to the Blues if they fail to make a significant bid for the youngster.
Olise joined Crystal Palace from Reading two seasons ago after being named the EFL Championship Young Player of the Season in 2021, and has grown in reputation since joining the Eagles.
He provided 11 assists for Crystal Palace in 37 Premier League games during the 2022/23 season and was named the club’s player of the season, showing his importance to their 11th-placed finish.
