Drake loses ₦950 million betting on Francis Ngannou to beat Anthony Joshua
Drake is accustomed to placing large wagers on high-profile fights; but, after Joshua defeated former UFC champion Ngannou, he lost a $615,000 wager worth about one billion naira.
The celebrated musician first became well-known for placing bets on fights two years ago.
Since then, he has experienced both significant victories and losses.

Drake spent a six-figure sum on former UFC champion Ngannou to defeat Joshua; if the wager had been successful, he would have won just less than $2 million.
With a powerful right hand in the first round, Joshua put Ngannou down, doing what Tyson Fury was unable to do.
Ngannou was eliminated in the second round with another solid shot.
Shortly after, Joshua abruptly ended the performance by knocking out Ngannou with another powerful right hand blow.
In a Misfits Boxing match last year, one of Drake's greatest wagers was on YouTube boxer Logan Paul to defeat Conor McGregor's training partner Dillon Danis via knockout.
After Danis was disqualified in the last round for attempting to strangle Paul unconscious and creating a major brawl in the ring, the rapper was awarded $1.3 million.
Drake lost out on a $920,000 purse just one month prior to the bout when Israel Adesanya, a personal friend of Joshua and Ngannou, lost the UFC middleweight belt to Sean Strickland.
In their world title match, Drake was picking Adesanya to win by knockout, but Strickland pulled off a huge upset to win on points.
