Memphis bounced back to defeat the Lakers and tie the series at 1-1 but there was a more exciting talking point.
Memphis star Dillon Brooks called Lakers superstar LeBron James a "motherf****ng bum", and stared him down several times after making shots as he propelled his team to a crucial win.
Brooks shows LeBron no respect
Classic Dillon Brooks on his confrontation with LeBron James: “I don’t care. He’s old. … I poke bears. I don’t respect someone until he gives me 40.”

In a post-game interview, Brooks spoke about LeBron and told reporters: "I don't care, he's old". The Grizzlies' player implied that James started getting back in his face once he was in foul trouble:
"I was waiting for that. I was expecting for him to do that in Game 4 or Game 5, but he wanted to say something once I got my fourth foul. He should have said something earlier on".

The Lakers played poorly and failed to take advantage of open looks against a Memphis team playing without star man Ja Morant.
LeBron led all scorers with 28 points to go with his 12 rebounds while Brooks defended at a high level and tallied 12 points.
Game 3 is slated for Sunday in Los Angeles.
