Future uncertain for Dessers amidst transfer speculation

Despite his hat-trick, Philippe Clement admitted he could not guarantee Dessers’ future at the club. The striker has voiced frustration over limited playing time and Clement hinted that Rangers might consider selling him.

Clement acknowledged Dessers’ value to the team but insisted any departure would require a suitable replacement, saying, “Cyriel is a great character in the dressing room and always works hard. Of course, he is not happy about not getting more minutes, but that is competition at the highest level.

“If he stays, he will give everything for the club. But if he leaves, we will need someone of the same quality to replace him. We will see what happens in the next two weeks.”
