17-year-old Nigerian becomes youngest-ever player for Eagles in PL
England-born Nigerian start David Uzoh has made Premier League history at Crystal Palace.
Ozoh has become the youngest-ever player to represent Palace after his late substitution on Saturday.
The 17-year-old came on just at the death as the home side continued to deny top-ranked teams more points with Newcastle United the latest victim.
The historic entrance
Ozoh began his journey at Selhurst Park at the age of eight, when he joined Palace academy.
He's been at the club since then, passing through the ranks to finally make his senior debut at the age of 17.
The defensive midfielder replaced centre forward, Odsonne Edouard in the 90th to make history.
He becomes not just the youngest player to feature for Palace but also in the Premier League, with the previous youngest being George Ndah over 30 years ago (18y 017d v Everton).
Ozoh also becomes the third Nigerian player at Selhurst Park after Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise.
Palace deny another top side
Meanwhile, it does appear Crystal Palace are on a mission after sharing the spoils with another top-six club in the PL.
Palace held visitors Newcastle United to a goalless affair earlier on Saturday to make it two draws in the last two matches at home.
It was the second draw against a club in the top six, just days after the Eagles forced Manchester United to a 1-1 draw thanks to a late stunning free kick from Olise.
