Carlo Ancelotti gives 3 reasons why Real Madrid beat Dortmund to win 15th UCL title
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti was ecstatic following his team's triumph over Borussia Dortmund to lift their 15th Champions League title.
Los Blancos beat the German side 2-0 thanks to goals from Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Jr to become champions, and following the game, Ancelotti gave his opinion on Real Madrid's constant success in the competition.
What Ancelotti said
"It seems a dream but it is reality,” he said, per the BBC. “Really happy for sure. Really difficult game as usual; they played better first half, we played better second half, but a final is always like this.
“We were able to win, a fantastic season and we are really happy to be able to win the cup again."
When asked how Real Madrid kept winning the Champions League, he highlighted three major factors: the club's heritage, quality players, and the unity in the dressing room.
"It is the history and tradition of the club, of course the quality of the players, the club is a family, we work altogether without problems and the atmosphere is really good in the dressing room.”
“I need to thank the club and the players, no big egos, really humble, it was not difficult to manage the squad this season.
"I don't know what we are going to do, but for sure we are not going to sleep."
