Terry missed out on the final of the 100m after exiting at the semi-final but was part of Team USA that won gold in the 4x100m relay, when she combined with Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, Kayla White and Sha’Carri Richardson, to retain the title for the Americans.

Following the gold medal heroics, Terry is not just being celebrated back home but has seen one of her recent adventures start turning into a profitable venture.

This is because besides her track career, Terry is also the founder of the book club “Readers on the Run” where she encourages young children and families to join her in reading stories that encourage them to chase their dreams.

She has also become an author and published a new children’s book titled TeeTee’s World Adventure in April, using her free time to promote it.

However, following her inspirational performance in Tokyo, it looks like she might not need to do much marketing as her good job on the track has popularized her work. The Florida-born sprinter expressed her excitement on social media over how fans are now falling in love with her book by snapping them off the shelves.

“I came home to 21 autograph book orders. THANKYAAAAA,” ‘Tee Tee’ roared on X on Wednesday and on Thursday, she provided an even better update.

“BUSINESS IS BOOMING OK. We at 55 orders now and one order was out of the country. I had to order more books because I ran out. SO THANKFUL,” she said in her latest post.

Terry’s book was co-authored with Dennis Vanasse and it covers the story of her Olympic journey, aiming to encourage young readers to seek out “teamwork, resilience, and the joy of adventure.”
