Bayern Munich remain keen on Newcastle's Trippier despite rejected bids

Kieran Trippier remains the top January target for Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich before the end of the January window. 

Trippier, 33, has reportedly expressed a desire to move to Germany but Newcastle are not interested in a loan deal and will only sell for the right price.

According to 90min, the Magpies are extremely reluctant to sell Trippier, who has worn the captain's armband numerous times since his 2022 arrival. 

The club is not only keen on retaining one of their key players but also believes that, even in an ideal situation, they won't secure more than €25m for him.

 This valuation appears optimistic, especially considering that Bayern's most recent rejected offer was €10m less than that figure.

Bayern still feel a deal for Trippier is possible and are determined to continue pushing until the end of the transfer window.
