Barcelona's Lewandowski rules out Saudi Arabia move
Barcelona striker Roberto Lewandowski has ruled out the possibility of moving to the Saudi Professional League this summer, saying he is not even discussing it.
The Poland international only recently joined the Blaugrana last summer, forcing a move from Bayern Munich.
He led Xavi's side to their first league title since 2019 by winning the golden boot. Following the Saudi interest in European top talents, the former Dortmund striker was linked; however, he has dispelled the rumours.
What Lewandowski said
The Pichichi winner was speaking in an interview when he was asked about the possibility of moving to Saudi Arabia.
The league has already taken last season's LALIGA golden boot winner, Karim Benzema, and is hot on the tails of a number of other top European talents, including Barcelona's number 9.
He rubbished the rumours, saying he does not even think about them as he has other priorities.
“I don't think about Saudi bid... because there's nothing to think about. I’ve other priorities,” he said.
“I look and see what is happening [in Saudi], but it does not concern me.”
